Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Verdiq LLC (“Verdiq”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Verdiq Book — our SMS- and voice-first scheduling platform for service providers — and the websites and software that support it (collectively, the “Service”).

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

From service providers

When a service provider creates an account, we collect: name, business name, email address, phone number, business address, payment account details (handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers), service catalog information, availability schedule, and authentication credentials.

From clients of providers

When a client books a service through a Verdiq Book provider, we collect: phone number, name, booking details (date, time, service type, notes), and the contents of SMS and voice messages exchanged with the provider through the Service.

Automatically

We collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and pages or features accessed. We use this for security, debugging, and product improvement.

2. How we use information

To operate the Service — matching client requests with provider availability, scheduling appointments, and sending booking-related SMS and voice messages.
To provide reminders, confirmations, and reschedule notices for appointments.
To respond to support inquiries and resolve issues.
To improve the platform — analyzing usage patterns, fixing bugs, and developing new features.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. SMS messaging information

Phone numbers and consent collected for SMS messaging are used solely to operate the Service. We do not share, sell, or rent your phone number or SMS opt-in information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances.

Clients can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT, or CANCEL to any message. Reply HELP for help. Standard message and data rates may apply.

4. How we share information

We share information only as necessary to operate the Service:

With the provider you booked. Booking details and SMS contents are visible to the service provider you contacted — that is the point of the Service.
With service providers (subprocessors) who help us operate the platform: SMS and voice carrier (Twilio), database hosting (Supabase), AI assistance (Anthropic, OpenAI), web and worker hosting (Vercel, Render), error tracking (Sentry), logs (Axiom), and analytics (PostHog). Each subprocessor is contractually required to handle data only on our instructions.
For legal reasons — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
In a business transfer — if Verdiq is acquired or merged, information may transfer to the successor entity, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

We retain provider account information for as long as the account is active. Client booking and message history is retained while the related provider account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for support and audit purposes. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Security

We use industry-standard technical and administrative measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message.
Access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing hello@verdiqtech.com.
California residents: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any “sale” of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
EEA / UK residents: Under GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our lawful bases are contract performance, legitimate interest, and consent (for marketing communications, where applicable).

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. By using it, you consent to the transfer and processing of information in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
